I'm getting the Tahoe back today. They were able to fix it. I can't wait to be driving it again. I have been driving my mother in law's Suburban and while I love the fact it has a dvd player, I don't like having to park it. The thing is a beast!
I found out that the lady who hit me was indeed drunk. Her insurance agent told me that she had just been through a death in the family and she wasn't handling it very well. That made me think...what if she had caused a death in our family? How would she have felt then? Alcohol wasn't helping her one bit. I'm glad she is now in a rehabilitation center getting the help she needs. She's lucky no one got seriously hurt.

Utah
We got back last night from a 10 day trip to Utah. We were hesitant to go because of Chase and his colic, but I have to say, the boy has grown leaps and bounds during this trip. He was able to get used to his car seat, his tummy seems to be doing better, and I think Brett and I have generally figured him out. He's smiling at us more and we are so much happier with him.
We went to Utah for our niece Lauren's baptism. She's the oldest of the cousins and such a good example. It was a beautiful ceremony and Lauren was just lovely. It was emotional and spirit filled. The room was packed. She has so many people that love and support her.
Here she is at the after party. Such a sweet soul.
These in ground trampoline's are awesome. They're all over Utah. Bryson had so much fun on it...as long as no one else bounced him. I'm hoping he'll get a little more brave.
Here are the two Bryson's in the family.
Lauren's little sister Lacie. She is just about the cutest kid around, and she knows it! She can get away with anything, and all she has to do is smile.

I had to show this picture. We traveled to Utah in two days. We stayed over in Battle mountain at a not so great motel. We packed both travel beds for the boys and were do they end up? Luckily it was King sized bed.

Chase meeting his one and only "Great Papa Nelson". Papa Nelson went through the temple for the first time while were there. We are so proud of him.
Fuzzy blanket time.
We took Bryson to ride a real "choo choo". The Heber City Railroad (otherwise known as the Heber Creeper). Before hand we had lunch at a cute little restaurant called "Dairy Keen" that is train themed. There's a train running all around the ceiling and picture of trains on all the walls. The employees wear train hats and there are trains outside to play on. They even have a train table set up to play on. Bryson was in heaven and didn't want to leave. We had to explain to him that he was going to ride a "real choo choo" and he finally gave in.
We took the 90 minute scenic tour. Believe me that's long enough! It was a beautiful ride and Bryson really enjoyed it. We pointed out everything to him and he seemed so very interested in everything. The train even had a little red caboose. He tried to turn the wheel to make it brake...just like in the book we read to him.

We celebrated Brett's 30th birthday while we were down there. We went to a restaurant called Tepanyaki where they cook the food in front of you and have you catch shrimp in your mouth. It's a fun place. Unfortunately Brett came down with something that night and spent the whole next day in bed. What a great birthday.
