Winchester Bay Oregon

Our trip to the Oregon Dunes was so much fun. Brett's family goes every year and since we missed last year (due to Chase being born the day they got back) we were very excited to make it this year. It was in the 50's and 60's the whole week, always a little foggy and it even rained a little. It was heaven.

Bryson all cuddled up.

Our rigs.

We celebrated the boys birthdays while we were out there. Bryson turned 3 on the 25th and Chase turned 1 on the 26th.

The cousins enjoying Bryson's new "Cars" race track.

Chase practicing his walking. As of this post he is now officially walking on his own.

On his 3rd birthday Bryson rode his first quad. He is so cute in all his new gear. We are so proud.

Utah

We went to Utah and finally got to meet Jeremy and Julie's newest arrival...baby Logan

He was born in May and is just such a wonderful baby. His two sisters Lauren and Lacie are excited to have him in his family!

I think Lacie and Chase look alike...They both have grandma Patrice's brown eyes.

Playing in the helicopter.

Before we headed home we made a stop at the Salt Lake Temple so I could get a family picture. It's my favorite Temple.

So beautiful!

We also went to the Deseret Books new flagship store. Bryson wanted a picture with Joseph Smith.

Then we stopped at Hatch Family Chocolates. They have a show on TLC called "Little Chocolatiers"

Bryson took picture of the chocolates.

I couldn't leave without getting a picture with them. Here's Steve...Katie was a little too busy to stop for a pic. Notice the kids couldn't stop staring at him. Bryson later said, "he's a big boy, just like me."

Playdate

Amidst the chaos of remodeling our new house, I was able to see some good friends of mine. Maryann and Amy, I had so much fun yesterday. Bryson was grateful to have some friends to play with and I enjoyed watching all of our kids (8 in all) eat carrots our of the garden and have an apricot picnic out in your orchard. Let's do it again soon!

Welcome Baby Luke

We are so blessed to have so many babies in our family. Luke is Jeff and Lexi's newest arrival...their 4th (and final) boy! He was born on Tuesday the 6th at 11:08 pm and was 7lbs 9 oz and 20 inches long. Lexi said he took forever to come out because he had his hand up by his face and was hard to push out. He's been a good baby so far.

Our Fourth of July

After spending long hours at the new house on Saturday (no, we're not moved in yet...we're redoing the floors and painting first) we were exhausted. So, after a family nap, we walked over to Towncenter in El Dorado Hills and watched the fireworks. It was a fun show and even more fun people watching.

Chase cuddling with daddy before the show.

The kids loved their glowing flashlights.

The next day, Sunday, was the actual 4th so here are my boys all dressed up for church. Gosh I love them!
