Pismo Beach In February

We got back yesterday evening after yet another fabulous trip to Pismo. I didn't do much riding due to being pregnant but I really enjoyed the beach, reading books, being with family, and drinking gallons of hot chocolate. The weather was cold most of the time but every day we had sun. It would rain mostly at night and then we'd have good riding weather the rest of the time. We came home to wind and rain and we heard Shingle Springs got some snow...wow!

Bryson loves the ocean.

Jeff (Brett's brother) is notorious for breaking Rhino. This happened 5 minutes after he arrived, he hadn't even turned off the engine to his truck when he jumped into the Rhino to throw some rooster tails and all of a sudden we look over and the Rhino's front tires are splayed out and the front end is in the sand. It looks worse than it was. Something about a pin that fell out and it was easily fixed, but that didn't stop Jeff from swearing he'll never touch the Rhino again. He went on to ride it 6 more times :)

Checking out my dad's garage.

Trophy Husband, and so humble.

Our camp. Everyone had a ocean view this time.

Valentines Day with "fun dip" candy and colored tongues.

Watching the "mumm mumm's" (motorcycles) go by.

Looking at the ocean in the morning from our bedroom.

One of the highlights of the trip for me was finally being able to see my friend Anna and her family. I hadn't seen her daughter Kyla since she was a week or so old. She moved to Pismo a little while ago (she used to live near me) and every time I was going to Pismo, she was coming home to visit her family. Finally I caught her and we had a fun, but short time together. I took her and Kyla on the RZR and Brett took her husband Tyler and Bryson on the Rhino. It was cold but fun. Anna said she understood now why we like doing this kind of stuff. The dunes really are quite beautiful.

Kristen's Baby Shower

As most of you know, there are six of us that have stayed in touch since meeting at our "birthing class" with our first pregnancies. Now there are 3 of us that are pregnant again and we had a baby shower for Kristen on Friday. She's due in May, Jaime and I are due end of July. We were all very excited because she's having a girl and all of us with boys were very eager to buy pink.

Me, Susan, Jaime, Kristen, Karen, Ariel (the two boys are Bryson and Chase).

Kristen with one of her "girlie" outfits

Yes, I finally made a diaper cake and it turned out so cute. I can't wait to make more!

Pacifica & Pier 39

We enjoyed a fabulous trip to San Francisco last weekend. My mom and dad got a new toy hauler (trailer) and we needed to take it out on a maiden voyage before our trip to Pismo next month. Mom booked reservations at an RV park in Pacifica. We had the most glorious view!

We enjoyed the sites of San Francisco...

and Bryson had his first Carousel ride at Fisherman's Wharf.

Mmm, cotton candy!

Exhausted.

Back at home, enjoying the sunset.

View from inside our trailer with the back open.

Bryson's first push pop. What a mess!

Our last day there...we love Pacifica!
