What They Like

Bryson likes to line things up. Look at his grapes!

He also likes stickers.

Chase likes to show off his amazing neck muscles. At his 2 month appointment the doctor said he has the neck of a 4 month old. So advanced :)

Tahoe Snow

We just got back from a weekend camping trip in Tahoe. We drove up on clear roads, enjoyed the snow storm, and came back home on clear roads. It was so much fun! Bryson had never been in the snow before and he had a great time playing in it.

Here's my dad taking Bryson out to play in the snow for the first time.

Bryson's first coon skin hat. It reminds me of Scott Farkas from "A Christmas Story".

Picking out pine cones for nana.

Huddled and cuddled babies.

The Gondola. Some day I may actually get to ride it. It wasn't running that day.

When you don't own a pair of galoshes, you make due. Yep...a Ziploc bag. It works like a charm keeping the socks dry!

Chase wearing one of big brothers hats. Such a cutie.

What a great way to spend the weekend.

Getting Ready

I saw this black and white "Gothic" Halloween look in a magazine and had to copy it. Stickers on candles, Black ribbon, chip board letters, and pearls on white pumpkins, a few stray ravens and some clear vases with interesting holdings. So easy and fun to get away from all that orange!

Friends Over To Play

I got to have some old friends over yesterday, which meant a wonderful play date for Bryson because they brought their kids with them. We had so much fun catching up on old times. It was wonderful to see us all growing up and starting our families.

Me and my boys with Anna and her oh so adorable daughter Kyla. Anna's expecting her second baby in a couple months.

Me and Jessica. She has two super cute boys Reef and Po Haku (Hawaiian for Rock). She's from Hawaii and it was so nice to see her while she was in town.

Anna and Kyla.

Jessica and Anna. I know, my friends are beautiful (inside and out!)

The girls.

Kyla and her boys. Gosh, we have cute kids!

The sand monsters. My goodness, I have a lot of toys in my backyard.

Kyla looks like a model. Here she is with "Haku".

Chase's Blessing Day

We blessed Chase on Sunday. He wore the same blessing outfit that his big brother was blessed in. It was such a special day. Brett did a wonderful job and Chase slept through the whole prayer. I was relieved. Not everyone could stick around afterwards so we're missing a few in the pictures.

Accident Update

I'm getting the Tahoe back today. They were able to fix it. I can't wait to be driving it again. I have been driving my mother in law's Suburban and while I love the fact it has a dvd player, I don't like having to park it. The thing is a beast!
I found out that the lady who hit me was indeed drunk. Her insurance agent told me that she had just been through a death in the family and she wasn't handling it very well. That made me think...what if she had caused a death in our family? How would she have felt then? Alcohol wasn't helping her one bit. I'm glad she is now in a rehabilitation center getting the help she needs. She's lucky no one got seriously hurt.
