Just Another Week In Pictures

We got to visit with my grandma Eloise, who just turned 95 on January 11th. Happy Birthday grandma!

Chase Is 6 Months Old Today

Yes...it's already been half a year. It's amazing how much he's grown. He started crawling 2 days ago. He's loving trying out new foods. He likes the vegetables more than the fruits. I think his favorite so far are the sweet potatoes mixed with the wheat rice cereal. He gets a bottle or two of pear juice every day and he really looks forward to that ( it keeps him regular). He plays so cute with his big brother and I can tell they're going to spend many hours playing together. We love looking at his brown eyes (a rarity in our family), and making him giggle. We love our little boys!

80's Prom

Shannon's 40th Birthday

My friend Shannon turned 40. What better way to celebrate than to throw an 80's prom. This is a great way to feel young again. So bring out the blue eyeshadow, legwarmers, fingerless gloves, leggings, scrunchies, and big hair.

A bunch of us girls even learned a dance to perform. We called ourselves the "Spicettes" since Shannon's last name is Spicer. We're thinking about submitting this video to "So You Think You Can Dance".

Brothers First Bathtime

Nights have been rough around the Fleming home. The other night Brett and I were awake every half hour or so by one or both of the boys. Bryson gave us troubles because I had put him down early at 7pm so he was wide awake by 4am. Chase never has slept through the night yet. In fact, he's up every couple hours every night. Surprisingly I haven't been too tired during the day. I'll try to sneak in a nap with Chase on my chest (because he sleeps the longest that way) but that doesn't happen too often. I feel bad for Brett, he's the one who has to go to work.
I've put Chase in his nursery a couple of times but he is very active and always getting his arms or legs caught in the rails. We don't use the crib bumper because Chase loves to have his nose right in it. I'm too afraid of SIDS. So he's still in our room for now. I've ordered a mesh crib bumper from Wal Mart and we'll put him back in the nursery once we have that. I think he would sleep better if he didn't hear us tossing and turning. His sound machine might help too. We'll see. I had it so easy with Bryson. Sigh.

The Boys

Brett isn't the most fond of the "matchy matchy" thing, but when his boys look this cute, he just can't resist.

Happy New Year

We're getting two more babies in 2010. Julie is due in May with her third (hopefully with a boy this time), and Lexi is due in July with her fourth (hopefully a girl). We are so excited!!
