Fire drills at our house are a common occurrence. The kids think they're fun.
Here's what they do.
Hear the alarm. Crawl to the floor. Go to Cambria's room. Get her out of her crib. Crawl back to boys room. Open window. Kick out screen. Jump to safety. This is all assuming the fire is not on their side of the house and also assuming mommy and daddy can't get to them. They also know how to go out of Cambrias window if they need to. Each kid has a fire blanket under their bed and they know how to use them. Do you have a plan?

Thank you for the reminder, Garian. I've got to do this fire drill routine with my kids, too. We've certainly talked about it; but practicing is such a better idea. Love the picture of your three little ones crawling down the hall. :)
