Thanksgiving at the cabin

We are loving our new cabin in Truckee. Fire in the fireplace all week. Trails to explore. Snow to play in. Puzzles to work on. Late night board games. Hot chocolate. What's not to love?? Can't wait to hit the ski slopes or try our hand at snowmobiling. Fun, fun!

Here's a view from the master bathroom.

Puzzles!

Catching the Thanksgiving Day Parade from the loft.

Roaring fire lulled her to sleep.

Busy in the kitchen!

Mancala!

Out for a walk.

We love our Lauren.

Lightning tree at the neighbors.

Practicing my shot.

Hot chocolate on Main Street.

Decorating sugar cookies.

Wow! This looks SO fun, Garian!! :) What a beautiful cabin!! (Love the views you've captured in the photos!) I'm so happy for you and your family! What a great getaway--and for Thanksgiving too. I can just feel the happiness radiating from all those faces.

Have you heard of the Truckee Sourdough Company? The past several months we've been enjoying some of their bread. I think it's pretty good. See: https://www.facebook.com/Truckeesourdough
