Bryson's party was a luau theme. I figured, when he's old enough to have an opinion, he can pick out his own theme. This year the party's for the grown ups. I had an outfit for him that was from a friend who lives in Hawaii (thanks Heidi!) and it was perfect. I found some lei's that were supposed to be adult headbands, but on Bryson, they were the perfect size.

Brett was such a trooper. He was exhausted from the Pioneer Trek, but I put him to work on the kabobs. We had never grilled kabobs before. We were worried about how they would turn out. They were good, although next time I'll put more marinade on the vegetables, they could have used a little more flavor.

Yum, yum. Thanks Grandma's for all the help in putting these darn kabobs together. I couldn't have done it without you.

The big kahuna likes his kabobs!

The kids enjoyed the pool...

and the otter pops...

and the birthday cake...

and especially the presents!!

Bryson was so good at sharing his loot. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

He loves his "ride on" toys.

What a haul!

This was a great birthday!

Thanks everyone, for making this day such a special one. We have a wonderful family and are so blessed to share these moments with you.
